- Bitcoineer AI, Quantix Prime AI, Profit Rex & Co.: 41 “AI trading” websites in a BaFin warning
In a collective report dated May 30, 2025, BaFin warned of 41 websites that advertise with artificial intelligence and automated trading decisions. The full list of addresses, what the warning means and what steps those affected should check.
Websites that promise “intelligent” trading decisions through artificial intelligence are among the most common entry points to investment losses we hear about. The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) published a collective report with 41 internet addresses on May 30, 2025. This article lists the addresses in full and classifies what the warning means for those affected.
What BaFin has published
According to BaFin's consumer notice, financial services are offered or brokered via the websites mentioned without the necessary permission. The websites advertise a “gateway to informed trading decisions” and similar language and are very similar in structure and promise. BaFin is not in contact with the operators and does not supervise them.

How those affected typically describe the process
The following patterns are general experiences from descriptions of those affected by offers of this type and are not statements of fact about a specific website: The contact begins with an advertisement or an alleged news article. After registration, an “advisor” calls you by phone and urges you to make your first deposit. The customer account quickly shows profits, further deposits follow. Payouts fail due to new conditions. Anyone who wants to get out is forcefully - sometimes with threats - pressured into making further payments.
What those affected can do now
- Do not make any further payments - in particular no “taxes”, “fees” or “verification payments” for a withdrawal.
- Save documents: payment receipts, bank statements, chat histories, emails, screenshots of the customer account and the advertising through which the contact was made.
- Inform your own bank or card issuer and have chargeback options checked.
- File a criminal complaint and report the matter to BaFin.
- Remove remote maintenance software that was installed on the instructions of the provider and change access data.
Legal options
The operators of such websites are usually intangible. Claims against the holders of the recipient accounts, against the payment service providers and crypto exchanges involved and, in certain constellations, against your own bank can therefore be considered. The official determination that authorization is missing can be important for claims for damages against those responsible and can play a role in the question of what payment service providers involved could have known from the date of publication. Which claims exist depends on the individual case.
Conclusion
On May 30, 2025, BaFin warned about 41 websites with “AI trading” promises. Anyone who has deposited money at one of these addresses should stop further payments, secure documents and have their options checked. This also applies to similar offers that do not appear in the list.

Frequently asked questions
Such websites are constantly being relaunched; BaFin can only warn about addresses that it has become aware of. The fact that an address is missing says nothing about its seriousness. Check whether the provider is listed in BaFin's company database and have your case classified.
No. BaFin is the supervisory authority and does not enforce the claims of individual investors. The police and public prosecutor are responsible for criminal prosecution, and you are responsible for enforcing civil law claims - we support you in this.
This is not proven. The websites are similar in structure and promises, but a common operator cannot be derived from this. This post claims no connection.
